Chaos is a friend of mine.

oh...hi there. This is slightly embarrassing. Disappearing for ages was not planned but hey: shit happens. My philosophy as of recent. Anyways, I am changing my blog around a bit. Anyone who has managed to see this or keep reading (Thumbs up! You're awesome! I still suck!) knows that my preferred style/taste doesn't really have a specific category. It's not that it's hard to take a picture of myself (set up tripod, timer, click) it's just hard to find time to. I usually take 20-30 pictures of myself and out of those I pick five to edit and out of those usually only one looks good. It is a tedious process. Being a tortured sixteen year old and a full time blogger is tough work (wipes sweat off brow) so I'm just going to make things around here a little more random. Not so many personal style things but just style in general. Anyways, I'm going to leave you with some of the things that have been inspiring me lately....especially that refridgerator.

You ever been?

(Erin and Mary-Kate, Google images; Pouch and Dress, Urban Outfitters; Feather Ear Cuff, Etsy; Beautiful, amazing, perfect leotard, American Apparel)
Current obsessions? Erin Wasson, round sunglasses, leather tribal pouches, ear cuffs that require no new piercing, this dress that I wouldn't die for (how the hell would I wear it then?) but is probably the one thing I truly want for my birthday, and finally the best leotard I have ever seen in my life. Bought Weezer's six hits album at best buy for a mere one dollar and seven cents and am curiously waiting for their next release supposedly coming out sometime this year. Also, anyone seen Manchester Orchestra's new single 'Simple Math'? Or Architecture in Helsinki's new album release date? If you haven't then get on it. Like now. Go go go

Mermaid Status

This weekend was extremely uneventful. I did have a dream, however, that one of my friends and I flew over our school and a guy from spanish class told us to stop and get in the mini van. In that very first picture you can see how horrible and messy my room is at the present time and cleaning it for two days straight didn't even help. What the hell. Anyways, these are the fantastic and cheap shoes I bought last weekend and they fit me like a dream. You can't imagine how hard it was for me to get a picture of this outfit. My photographer for the day bailed so it was a battle between me and the self timer once more....I can't believe how many times I took a picture and I thought it was going to be perfect and i look at it and it is straight up wack. Another quick update? I am thinking of cutting my hair....not short but with nice mermaid like layers. My friend Borden's hair makes me so jealous. Hers is like straight up mermaid status...

The Return.

Sorry I haven't posted in like...oh yeah two months? But I've been busy and really just didn't feel like talking about myself all the time. Today is national no shoes day in dedication for the children in third world countries and I have to say that I'm loving the feel of free feet. It's weird because to a lot of people it's just something fun to do at school...it kinda bugs me. Anyways, I'll get back to my outfit. These pants were an amazing find that I found while thrifting with my best friend for only 13 bucks. I also got a new pair of shoes that I'll post an outfit with soon. Blogs and bands I'm loving right now? Fated to be Hated (ftbh.blogspot.com) and Yellow Ostrich are freaking great. Next time I post I'll leave a link to my hypemachine profile which has all my favorite music on it.

Inspiration off a hiatus

I've been off doing school work and my family is tough to shop for for Christmas but over the past two weeks I gathered some things that caught my attention. I really love that Native American Chief and I have to say he inspired much of my wish list this Christmas. I tried to upload a picture of Mama Cass from the Mamas and the Papas but my computer has PMS at the present time. Abbey Lee Kershaw has the best sense of style. Music I'm into lately is mainly weird 70's crap like the Electric Prunes and Psychic TV. Also into Suicide (don't worry it isn't a gruesome band, just very trippy Psychedelia from the 90's) and this great Ellie Goulding remixed cover of Elton John's "Your Song". Brilliant.
